Both the HMHS boys and girls varsity squads defeated their second round NJSIAA opponents last night to move into the semifinals for the state tournament. The HMHS Bulldogs both moved into the next round on Wednesday night.
The HMHS boys, 23–5, defeated Cinnaminson, 21–6, by a score of 62–57 last night to move into the semifinal round tomorrow against Middle Township. The game will be played at the Middle Township High School gym at 7 p.m. tomorrow night.
The HMHS girls, 18–6, triumphed over Middle Township High School, 19–5, by a score of 37–30. The girls moved into the semifinals of the tournament and will play Point Pleasant tomorrow at 6 p.m. in the Borough of Point Pleasant.
