A partial sigh of relief could be heard at E.T Hamilton Elementary School, after Voorhees Township board of Education members received word that Gov. Christie would not be slashing state aid for the second year in a row.
Preliminarily, what was a $1.9 million gap to fill by the board, is now closer to $1.5 million after the state aid announcement.
Dr. Frank DeBerardinis said this greatly helps the board move on with its budget work.
