Obituary: Donald L. Rech

Donald L. Rech, age 80, of Medford passed away Feb. 15 peacefully at home. Mr. Rech was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Patterson). He was the loving father of Meredith Rech Hahn (Jeffrey) and Donald Owen Rech (Christine) and grandfather of Caitlin, Jeffrey and Harrison Hahn and Avery and Reed Rech. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn, in 1988 and his daughter, Cynthia Johnson, in 1997. Mr. Rech graduated from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1952. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1952–1955 during the Korean War Conflict. He was in Sales and eventually formed his own company, “Forms Design”, designing business forms. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd. Burial is in Park View Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cynthia Rech Johnson Memorial Garden, C/O Medford Lakes Colony Club, 79 Tecumseh Tr., Medford Lakes, NJ 08055 or the Moorestown Visiting Nurses Hospice, 300 Harper Dr., Moorestown, NJ 08057 would be appreciated.
