Burlington County will be sponsoring a free computer and television recycling event for county residents this Saturday, Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Robert Shinn Recycling Center at 130 Hancock Lane off County Route 541 in Westampton.
“These events have always been well-received by residents and we appreciate their response,” Freeholder Joseph B. Donnelly said. “Recycling of these electronic items becomes even more of a priority now that state law bans them from all landfills and incinerators.”
County residents may bring televisions, computers and laptops to be recycled. Staff will unload electronics directly from vehicles. This event is for Burlington County residents only, no businesses or non-profits. In the event of snow, call 267–6889 for cancellation information.
