Commuters that haven’t already looked outside might be in for a snowy shock as up to one-inch of snow blanketed parts of South Jersey this morning. Travelers can expect to add at least 10 minutes cleaning off the car, in addition to the 20 to 30 minutes they should add for travel.
Route 70 West is slow going due to the conditions, and extra slow on 70 eastbound, from about Route 73 to Springdale Road. Secondary and back roads, as well as unsholved sidewalks and parking lots, may be slippery this morning.
The snow could taper off by noon, however a slight chance remains of further precipitation throughout the day. Forecasts are calling for more winter weather, beginning early Saturday morning and ending around dinnertime.
To report issues on a municipal roadway, contact DPW at 424–4422. Please note that not all roads in Cherry Hill are maintained by the township. If you see a problem on a county road, call 566–2980 to report it.
