The Medford Township Department of Recreation is seeking basketball players in grades 9 through 12 to participate in a Boy’s Basketball League. This annual league provides an opportunity for high school aged boys to play some fun, yet competitive, basketball. Player evaluations will take place on Jan. 26. Individuals will be placed on teams for league play beginning Feb. 2.
A 10-week schedule, which includes playoffs and a championship game, will be provided once teams have been assigned. All regular season games will be played on Wednesday evenings between 6 and 10 p.m. in the gymnasium of Kirby’s Mill Elementary School located on Hartford Road in Medford.
Those interested in playing must be residents of Medford or Medford Lakes. The fee to participate is $40 per player, which includes team shirts and officials’ fees. Once the online form is complete, you may print it out and mail it with your payment to Medford Township Recreation Department, 17 N. Main St., Medford.
