Perkins Center receives $10K grant

The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey announced the foundation’s third round of grants for 2010 totaling $225,000. The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey supports charitable organizations that promote health and the arts throughout New Jersey.

“We congratulate the fourteen organizations across the state who are receiving grants. These groups bring meaningful change to people’s lives,” said William J. Marino, chairman of the Board of Directors of the foundation.

Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown, received a grant of $10,000 to support the ARTS (Artists Reaching The Students) Program. The program offers students at schools in Camden and Burlington counties custom-designed residencies that teach students the techniques and processes of visual arts, dance, music, theater and language arts.
