As a result of a cooperative investigation between Moorestown, Cherry Hill, Haddonfield and Maple Shade police departments, on Nov. 30, a 26-year-old Maple Shade resident was arrested on a charge of burglary/theft to a residence in the unit block of Red Leaf Road in Moorestown. The burglary/theft occurred during the day on Nov. 4. An alert resident obtained the vehicle registration of the suspect’s vehicle that assisted in identifying him as a suspect. As a result of continued investigation, the suspect is being charged with attempted burglaries to three other residences in Moorestown, two on the 600 block of Grand Avenue and one on the unit block of Crider Avenue that all occurred during the day on Nov. 4. Charges are also expected for offenses committed in Cherry Hill and Haddonfield. The suspect was lodged at Burlington County Jail in default of $5,000 bail. Residents are urged to watch out for their neighbors and contact the police immediately if they see suspicious activity.
