Cherry Hill Public Schools Superintendent David Campbell has advised the Board of Education of his intention to retire at the end of next school year.
The Board will hold a retreat on July 13 to discuss criteria for the search for a new superintendent, according to a posting on the district’s Web site, www.cherryhill.k12.nj.us. Last fall, the Board extended its contract with Campbell, through June 30, 2011.
“The Board is pleased to have time to conduct the search for a new superintendent, while the important work of the district continues under Dr. Campbell’s leadership in 2010–2011,” said Seth Klukoff, BOE president.
