Moorestown Mall’s “TweenStyle” board is the region’s first youth ambassador corps for “tweens” aged 11 to 14 years. The mall is recruiting local “tweens” who are active in their schools and communities to become 2010–11 “TweenStyle” members.
Now in its seventh year, the mall invites local girls and boys aged 11 to 14 to join the “TweenStyle” ambassador corps, which represents the mall by assisting at events, conducting community service projects and modeling in fashion shows. Applications are available now at the mall’s Customer Service Center; the application deadline is Monday, May 31.
“The TweenStyle Board provides a rich opportunity for local youth to connect powerfully with their peers and the community at large,” said Lori Anzivino, mall marketing director. “We’re committed to enhancing young lives, and it’s a pleasure to provide this exciting program for local “tweens”.
“Tweens” with a passion for fashion and a desire to contribute to the community will be selected by Moorestown Mall each year as “TweenStyle” members. Highlight events will include production of and participation in fall and spring fashion shows, assisting with mall holiday and special events, and a variety of community service projects on behalf of the mall.
In return for their participation, the mall will provide members with bi-monthly programs that focus on self-development and issues that affect them, such as health, beauty, fitness, fashion, etiquette and more. Meetings will be held every other month on Friday evenings at the mall.
