SJ Ballet presents The Nutcracker

Four Voorhees dancers will perform key roles in South Jersey Ballet Theatre’s upcoming production of “The Nutcracker.” Alexandra Eggie, 17, a senior at Eastern Regional High School, will dance the lead part of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Adora Goldovsky, 17, a junior at Eastern, will perform the role of the Snow Queen. Another Eastern junior, Julia Udine, 16, will perform as the Kissy Doll, Spanish Dancer, and Arabian Dancer, and Eastern sophomore Lauren Mosley, 16, will dance the part of Clara.

Also participating in the production are more than 75 young dancers, including Voorhees residents Natalie Boisvert, Delaney Booth, Julia Eggie, Allison Flores, Kathleen Flores, Liz Pecan, Samantha Pecan, Kelly Pilkauskas, Alyssa Sawka, and Madeline Seybold.

Four performances, featuring professional sets, colorful costumes, and classical ballet, are scheduled for Dec. 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 20 and 21 at 2:30 p.m., at the Voorhees Middle School Theatre on Holly Oak Drive.

For ticket information, contact the box office at 309–8282. All seats are reserved. Adult tickets are $15, while tickets for seniors (age 62 and older) are $12 and tickets for children (age 12 and under) are $10. Group rates for organizations are available.
