Support the troops

In the spirit of the holidays, Justin Villani, of Moorestown, is organizing a holiday service project, and joining efforts with Lockheed Martin, and Moorestown Soccer Club and members of the Moorestown community to assist with a care package drive to the soldiers in Iraq.

Last year Villani sister, Alexandra, also assisted with the project, and this year Justin is carrying on the local tradition, while Alexandra runs a similar program at her college.

Justin is spearheading his efforts with the Moorestown public schools and the soccer club.

Justin will be going to each public school. The high school, middle, UES and four elementary schools, to deliver boxes, in addition, a collection box is at his home at 729 Signal Light Road in Moorestown.

The collection period ends Wednesday, Dec. 9. The care packages this year will be supporting the N.J. National Guard 1–150th Assault Helicopter Battalion currently located in Al Kut, Iraq, approximately 100 miles S.E. of Baghdad. Their Motto is “Guardians of Freedom.” Below is a listing of the various items that we are collecting to send to the soldiers.
