The Moorestown Rotary Club announces its programs for the 2009–10 Travel Adventure Film Series. For more than 35 years these films, personally narrated by their producers, have taken audiences on fascinating trips throughout the world. They have seen Egypt, the South Sea Islands, South America, the Orient and much, much more. All this viewed from the arm chair comfort of Moorestown’s William Allen Middle School’s auditorium.
This season these six absorbing films will be shown:
• Oct. 15 — The Soul of Morocco
• Nov. 19 — Israel Today
• Jan 21 — LaManche/The English Channel
• Feb. 18 — Grand Canyon
• March 18 — Inside Iran Today
• April 15 — St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Caribbean Jewels
These Thursday programs begin at 7:30 p.m. at the William Allen Middle School Auditorium, North Stanwick Road, Moorestown. Tickets for the series of six films are $28 and $7 for individual programs. Proceeds fund Moorestown Rotary Charities that award scholarships for graduating high school students in Moorestown as well as providing support for many other charitable requirements.
