One of South Jersey’s finest outdoor shopping centers, The Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton, has announced plans to host their sixth annual Summer Concert Series July 1 to Aug. 26. Every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., music fans of all ages are invited to enjoy the variety of musical styles including jazz, blues, popular rock and roll, country, R&B, bluegrass and more. All concerts during The Promenade’s Summer Concert Series are free to visitors and will take place in Center Court with plenty of room for dancing or sitting in lawn chairs. The Promenade is Pet Friendly too!
Performances scheduled for the Summer Concert Series include new artists along with returning favorites: The British Rock Invasion presents a tribute to the late 60s era of British Bands on July 1; 4 Wheel Drive Band brings their brand of country music on July 8; R&B recording artist Angela Johnson grooves on July 15; the authentic blues band Bluesbox Delux makes their Promenade debut on July 22; and the bluegrass favorite Stone Mountain Road returns on July 29. A hot summer evening is made cooler with the gypsy jazz styling of Hot Club of Philly on August 5; discover local rising pop groups My Name is August with special guest Kingsfoil on August 12; enjoy the jams with Electric Yellow on August 19; and The Coco Lopez Band brings their soulful rock & roll on August 26 to round out the series.
In addition to listening to an outdoor concert every Wednesday evening, guests can enter their chance to win the Grand Prize; a large screen HDTV LCD courtesy of ALBO and Courier Post, and other special gift items courtesy of Hutchinson Heating and Air.
The Promenade at Sagemore is located in Marlton, New Jersey on Rt. 73.
