The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey’s spring concert, to be held on Saturday, May 9, at Moorestown High School, will feature an eclectic mix of classical music’s best.
The “Showpieces” concert will begin at 8 p.m., and include Bruckner’s Symphony №7 in E major, Bruch’s Adagio for Solo Violin and Orchestra, and Arnold’s Four Scottish Dances, Opus 59. The evening also will include the first-ever performance of an original work by philharmonic conductor and music director Philip Francis Travaline, as well as a violin solo by philharmonic concertmaster and audience favorite David Michie.
