In this week’s Moorestown Sun:
• Voters defeat budget: The Moorestown school district’s $68 million proposed budget was unsuccessful at the polls, and three school board seats were decided during last Tuesday’s election. Town Council will now review the school district budget to see if there are any cuts that can be made.
• New Virtua facility could be reality: By the end of the year — and pending approval by the township planning board — Virtua Health may start construction on a 200,000-square-foot multi-hospital health-care system.
• Water and sewage fees to rise: Council increases fees in response to the state’s water hike.
