In this week’s print edition of The Sun:
• Budget doesn’t conform: Council asks for residents’ input to fix “unacceptable” preliminary budget numbers.
• Tradition of excellence: Moorestown lacrosse coach Deanna Knobloch, a former Quakers’ player herself, takes nothing for granted.
• Committee counting trees: Have you noticed strings wrapped around the trunks of some trees along Main Street? Don’t be alarmed. The trees aren’t being removed. They are simply being counted. These trees are part of an ongoing test of the town’s new computerized tree inventory. In conjunction with Moorestown’s Public Works and key township personnel, the Moorestown Tree Planting & Preservation Committee recently acquired PDA units and a GPS system to collect information about the town’s tree canopy.
