Six outstanding South Jersey women will be recognized for their dedication, loyalty and leadership within their local communities during the Fifth Annual Women of Achievement Award Reception on Oct. 5 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Auletto Caterers in Almonessen.
Tish Colombi, former Mayor of Haddonfield, will be one of six women honored by the Boy Scouts on Oct. 5
The Women of Achievement Awards Reception is sponsored by the Garden State Council, Boy Scouts of America and is led by co-chairs Debra S. Rosen, a Partner at Archer & Greiner, P.C., and Christine Mohan, Senior Vice President of Support Services at Pardee Resources Company.
The Women of Achievement are selected by leaders in the Southern New Jersey Business Community for outstanding community service and for the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues.
Throughout Scouting, there have been many women who are in leadership positions and serve as the backbone of many units in the Council. The Women of Achievement Award recognition is accorded to those who exemplify in their daily life the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America as expressed by the Scout Oath and Law. Recipients do not have to be involved in Scouting.
Tickets are available for the event, proceeds support Scouting programs in South Jersey.
