Haddon Fortnightly and J.Jill team up to collect clothing for those in need

The Evening Membership Department of The Haddon Fortnightly is partnering with J.Jill women’s clothing stores to distribute clothing to needy non-profit organizations. The J.Jill Compassion Fund will host a “Gently Worn Event” on Oct. 3 through 12. Customers donate their “gently worn” clothing to their local J.Jill store. For each donated item, J.Jill will, in turn, offer a 30 percent discount on new items in the store. The EMD of the Haddon Fortnightly Social Services Committee will then receive all donated items and distribute to local organizations in need of clothing. Come benefit from a big discount on new, fall clothing while helping others in need. If any questions, please call Carol at (856) 858–5383.
