Rotary Club providing grants to ‘deserving nonprofits’

The Rotary Club of Haddonfield is distributing $50,000 in grants this year.

The Rotary Club of Haddonfield and its foundation has begun the process of providing grants to deserving nonprofit organizations. This year, a total of $50,000 is being distributed for educational and charitable grants, scholarships and civic and community sponsorship.

At a recent Club meeting, Rotarian Gerry Nanos presented Gerry Rice of Feed My Starving Children a $1,000 donation to support the group’s international efforts to provide meals for starving children around the world.

Rotarian Charles Hart presented a $1,000 donation to Virginia Ritchie, founding board member of Interfaith Caregivers, which enables elderly and disabled individuals to remain in their homes.
