Brush Collection for Zone 4 begins on Aug. 26. Residents should have their brush placed at the street for collection. Residents who have brush for disposal after collection of the Zone has been completed may bring their material to the DPW yard any Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 2 pm.
The yard will also be open on Sept. 7 and 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Brush includes the pruning of trees, shrubs, bushes or vines, but excludes grass clippings, flowers, weeds, tree trunks, stumps, leaves and other foreign debris. If the excluded items are mixed with the brush, township crews will not pick up.
The remaining Zones will be collected according to the following schedule:
Zone 2: Week of Sept. 9
Zone 1: Week of Sept. 23
Zone 3: Week of Oct. 7
Residents who place brush at the street outside of scheduled collection dates can be cited for violation of Township Ordinance. Township Code states “All brush shall be stored on a resident’s property and shall not be placed at the roadside earlier than 10 days preceding the Monday of the scheduled collection week
