Obituary: Judith S. Stainrook

Judith S. Stainrook(nee Swann) of Haddonfield passed away on July 29 at the age of 79. Judith was formerly of New York City and Buffalo, New York.

Judith was the beloved wife of Harry R., loving mother of Eric and Jennifer Stainrook and cherished grandmother of James A. Stainrook, passed.

Judith had been an opera singer and worked at Gerard Trust Bank in Philadelphia. She was passionate about art and volunteered as a docent at both the Albright-Knox Museum in Buffalo and the Whitney Museum in New York. Locally, Judith was actively involved with the Haddonfield Historical Society and volunteered at the Haddonfield Library.

Judith’s family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services on West End Ave. in Haddonfield. All are invited to return for Judith’s Funeral Service on Friday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to honor Judith may be made to the Stainrook Foundation to help continue her passion and contributions to the Arts. Donations can be sent to: The Stainrook Foundation Ansonia Station P.O. Box 230002, New York, New York 10023–000.
