Backcreek Road bridge to be closed for four weeks starting June 17

Press release from the Harrison Township Police Department.

On June 17, construction will begin on the the bridge on Backcreek Road (Woodland Avenue) in Woolwich Township.

This will require the road to be closed between Tomlin Station Road and Russell Mill Road for approximately four weeks. A detour will be in place and officers from Harrison and Woolwich townships will be on location to assist with the detour for at least the first week.

Please seek an alternate route. Residents who live in the developments along the road will need to enter and exit the road from whichever side of the bridge they live on. The bridge will be impassible to all traffic.
