Whitehall will compete against more than 70 other schools for one of four $25,000 Dannon Yogurt Fit America grants
Whitehall Elementary School has recently been selected as a finalist in the Dannon Yogurt Fit America contest. Whitehall was selected out of hundreds of schools to compete for one of four $25,000 fitness grants, which will be used for indoor and outdoor gym and playground equipment.
Whitehall will compete against more than 70 other schools in the New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut and Maryland region to get votes. The top four schools receiving votes will be awarded the grant.
Anyone 13 and older who lives in one of those states may vote daily by going to the website: www.danimalsshopriteschoolcontest.young-america.com. One vote, per email, per day is allowed. Voting ends Feb. 15, with the winners being announced in March.
