State School Report Cards released

The New Jersey State Department of Education released its annual School Report Cards for 2010.

Results were released for both the Voorhees Township Public Schools, and Eastern Regional High School District.

“As we went through a difficult budget season this year, we continued to hear very positive comments from parents and community members about the fine educational outcomes of our schools,” VTPS Superintendent Raymond J. Brosel, Jr. said in his yearly district narrative. “Our school system excels as a testament to our students, parents, staff and supportive community.”

“We are extremely proud of our students and recognize their achievements regularly through special programs and publications, such as Honor Societies, Academic Awards Programs, Press Releases, Sports Awards, Band Awards, and Student of the Month programs,” Eastern Superintendent Robert M. Tull, Jr. said in his yearly district narrative. “Our students are regularly recognized for achievements in academics, athletics, and fine and performing arts. Extra-curricular, co-curricular, and athletic activities are offered to enhance the students’ total school experience.”
