There are 39 volunteer firefighters and officers who staff the two fire stations from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday nights the crews sleep in station from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and respond to all fire calls. They also handle all special assignments such as: the township picnic, movie night at Connelly Park, fire prevention activities, Santa Claus detail and many other special assignments.
Meeting nights are the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. Drills and training are held on the second, third, and fourth Monday nights.
