The Camden County Fair, presented by the Freeholder Board, is being held on Sept. 17 and 18 at Camden County College in Gloucester Township.
“Camden to the fair and bring your family and friends for amusement rides, carnival games, great food and much more,” said Freeholder Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Parks Department. “If you like pony rides, 4-H youth project displays and animal exhibits, the Camden County Fair is the place for you.”
There will be a full schedule of music during both days of the fair. This year’s lineup of talent features some of the area’s best musicians and performers. County officials say there is truly something for everyone with children’s acts along with Latin, Caribbean, R&B and good old rock and roll music.
“Don’t miss the Billy Hector Blues Band when they take the stage at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and TV’s “The Voice” runner up in 2014 Audra McLaughlin and her country band when they entertain the crowd at noon on Sunday,” Nash said. “Keep the party going with Parrot Beach performing their tribute to Jimmy Buffet at 4 p.m. on Sunday.”
Proud 4-H members will display their hard work ranging from arts, crafts, plants, animal, sewing and needlework. They will also show off their culinary expertise with cakes, pies, cookies, bread, jellies and jams, just to name a few.
Camden County also thanks its sponsors for supporting this year’s Camden County Fair including Forman Mills, Camden County College, Rutgers University, the Sun Newspapers and La Mega 105.7 FM.
