Gloucester Township police sting nets drugs

36-year-old Khalif A. Jones of Clementon was arrested.

The following information comes from the Gloucester Township Police Department:

The Gloucester Township Police Department Investigations Bureau’s Special Investigations Unit, along with the assistance of the Operations Response Unit. executed a search warrant at 502 Lacascata in Gloucester Township after a long-term investigation into the distribution of illegal and dangerous narcotics. A search of the residence was conducted which yielded heroin, cocaine, marijuana, suboxone, controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, a stun gun and $550 in cash. The GTPD Juvenile and Family Services Bureau with specially trained personnel was also on location to facilitate services and ensure the safety of juveniles on location.

Arrested:

Khalif A. Jones, age 36, from 502 Lacascata, Clementon, was charged with distribution of heroin within 500 feet of a park (second degree), distribution of heroin (third degree), possession of heroin (third degree), possession of cocaine (third degree), possession of a stun gun (fourth degree), possession of marijuana (disorderly persons offense) and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia (disorderly persons offense). Jones was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility in default of bail.
