Sicklerville man charged with multiple offenses after traffic stop

Medford Police say the 20-year-old is facing charges which include marijuana possession and possession of a fraudulent license.

Medford Police announced that they had arrested 20-year-old Michael J. Gallagher Jr. of Sicklerville and charged him multiple offenses including possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of a fraudulent New Jersey driver’s license.

According to the Medford police, Gallagher Jr. was stopped on Hopewell Road for speeding during the afternoon Saturday, April 1. During the stop, police said that a marijuana odor was coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a small plastic bag suspected to be marijuana was found along with a fraudulent NJ driver’s license.

Gallagher Jr. was placed into custody and transported to the Medford Township Public Safety Building for processing. He was charged and later released, pending a court appearance.
