Experience colonial life at Gloucester Township’s first ever Colonial Reenactment

Shoot arrows, throw tomahawks and fire flintlock rifles at the Gabreil Daveis Tavern April 22 and 23.

The Gloucester Township Historic and Scenic Preservation Committee is hosting its first ever Colonial Reenactment.

The event will take place Saturday, April 22 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine.

Activities include tours of the tavern, an American legion flag ceremony and 21-gun salute, period re-enactors and much more.

Those wishing to immerse themselves in the time period can even try out primitive archery, throwing tomahawks, campfire cooking and historical weaving.

Admission is free, though participating in certain activities will cost money.
