Annual community safety event is Aug. 1
It is that time of year again! This year’s National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. Citizens, law enforcement agencies, community groups, businesses, youth organizations and local, state and federal officials from 15,728 communities in all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide will join forces to celebrate the 33rd Annual National Night Out. NNO is a community crime and safety event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, ADT, Nextdoor.com, Association and Fun Flicks.
Last year, the Gloucester Township Police Department ranked eighth in the country thanks to all of the wonderful residents who committed their time to making our community safe! The GTPD will be holding block parties throughout town with all of their neighborhood watch groups.
If you would like to get your neighborhood involved, please contact Jenn Mclaughlin at [email protected] or (856) 374–5735. All residents are also encouraged to attend the public location at the Erial Fire Department, 1946 Williamstown Road.
