Out of this world: Library to host moon and solar eclipse parties

Learn about the sun, moon and planets at the Mullica Hill Branch Library

The Gloucester County Library System Mullica Hill Branch will host two space parties in preparation for the upcoming solar eclipse.

On Wednesday, Aug. 16, attend a Moon Party at 2 p.m. with Amy Barraclough from the Edelman Planetarium. Learn about the space, the planets and the solar eclipse with a presentation, craft and snack.

At 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, wear special, provided glasses and watch the solar eclipse at the library.

Supplies and glasses are limited, so be sure to register in advance. Visit the Mullica Hill Branch Library at www.gcls.org.
