With New Years about a week away, the Mullica Hill Branch Library plans a special countdown celebration

Committee addresses construction, traffic safety at Dec. 18Â meeting
At the Monday, Dec. 18 committee meeting, Mayor Louis Manzo addressed safety concerns expressed by members of the Harrison Township community about the incoming Mullica Hill Surgical Arts Center’s driveway access to Theresa Drive and the Route 322 Bypass. As well, residents brought forth frustrations in regard to recent ongoing construction and road closings, such as excess mud left behind from work crews and infrequent notices on when roads were to be shut down.
Ring in the New Year with the Mullica Hill Branch Library
Bring your dancing shoes and ring in the New Year at the Mullica Hill Branch Library on Friday, Dec. 29. Beginning at 11:30 a.m., count down the New Year with clown Toni Baloney with songs and dancing. Enjoy the party and treats to welcome 2018.
Harrison Township holiday trash and recycling schedule updates
Trash and recycling pick-up will be pushed one day for the observation of the Christmas and New Year holidays. For example, the Monday, Dec. 25, route will be pushed to Tuesday, Dec. 26. The Tuesday, Dec. 26, route will be pushed to Wednesday, Dec. 27. For more information, visit www.harrisontwp.us.
