Burlington County Sheriff Stanfield Announces 51 Arrests in Child Support Sweep

Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield announced on Friday, Oct. 6, the results of a recent child support raid, saying the sweep — which was part of a statewide effort — resulted in the arrest of 51 individuals in Burlington County who owed $1,209,088 in court-ordered child support.

“With the success of our most recent child support raid, we are sending a strong message that parents must take responsibility for their kids,” said Sheriff Jean Stanfield. “Child support isn’t just an issue for the children who rely on it, and the parents who owe it, it’s everyone’s issue. When child support goes unpaid, the cost of care often falls on taxpayer funded State and County agencies.”

In Burlington County the sweep involved assistance and support from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department, Pemberton Township Police Department and Willingboro Township Police Department.

Those arrested and ultimately released included: Bryan Hopkins, 50, Magnolia; Hazel Brandl, 37, Pemberton; Chante Harris, 25, Lumberton; Ali Washington, 25, Willingboro;

Michelle Wurcz, 50, Riverton; Ralph Bubenchik, 42, Pemberton; Kenneth Bender, 42, Riverside; Ronald Robinson, 42, Burlington; Wali Young, 55, Burlington; Stacy Lee Driscoll, 43, Egg Harbor; Jonathan Robles, 21, Pennsauken; Christian Porrata, 39, Pemberton; Francis Cooper, 50, Willingboro.

Those arrested and last reported as still being held in the Burlington County Detention Center included: Marcus Hubbard, 44, Edgewater Park; Dwayne Barnes, 30, Browns Mills; Tyrone Sharper, 33, Willingboro; Anthony Cooper, 27, Riverside; Christopher Cook, 39, Beverly; Alex Markovhik, 27, Evehsam; Allen Parker, 38, Willingboro; Joel Thomas, 28, Glassboro; Paul Ahrens, 40, Buena; Daniel Meisner, 52, Washington Twp.; Robert Anderson, 55, Pemberton; William Emmons, 28, Browns Mills; Alamin Crews, 26, Willingboro; Jahmar Jones, 34, Pemberton; Robert Vaughn, 29, Willingboro.

The following individuals surrendered to authorities: Gary Weiner, 53, Long Beach Township; Darryl Lockley, 54, Bridgeton; Wayne Byrd, 37, Willingboro; James Patrick, 39, North Plainfield; Michael Nesbitt, 38, Ewing; Deron Trumbette, 46, Hainesport; Walter Pozniewski, 41, Riverton; Steven Jaggernauth, 30, Delran; Wycliffe Reid, 38, Maplewood; Brian McClaine, 42, Trenton; Robert Hofflinger, 29, Browns Mills; Joanne Johnson, 61, Pemberton; Robert Beebe, 26, West Berlin; Quadir Davis, 36, Trenton; Rodney Ganges, 52, Bordentown; Anthony Bain, 52, West Berlin; Curtis Moreland, 46, Long Branch; Karen Lachey, 55, Northfield; Jonathan Batchelor, 40, Westampton; Samuel Covington, 34, Burlington; Eric Rosado, 38, Delran; Alexander Love, 46, Browns Mills; Jason Rivera, 30, Newark.

Arrested on fugitive warrants were: Wayne Byrd, 37, Willingboro for Forgery; Anthony Cooper, 27, Riverside for Theft; Alamin Crews, 26, Willingboro for Fugitive of Justice from Pennsylvania.

Subjects charged with additional crimes during warrant sweep: Allen Parker, 38, Willingboro for Resisting Arrest.

“This operation was conducted to remind parents of the importance of making regular child support payments and hopefully renew their commitment to do the right thing,” concluded Sheriff Stanfield. “I want to thank our law enforcement partners for their excellent assistance in this important law enforcement operation.”
