Drug possession and resisting arrest in latest Mt Laurel Police Report

The following reports are on file with the Mt. Laurel Police Department:

At 7 p.m. on Oct. 6, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a residence on Kelly Cove to serve an arrest warrant on a male, age 33, of Mt. Laurel. He was arrested and found in possession of the controlled drug Suboxone. He was charged with possession of prescription legend drugs and committed to the Burlington County Jail for the outstanding warrant.

Between 7:40 and 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 6, a cell phone was stolen from a locker at the YMCA, 59 Centerton Road. The locker had been forced open.

At 9:06 p.m. on Oct. 5, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 for a disorderly person. During the investigation officers arrested a male, age 27, of Bartow, Fla. He was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a court hearing.

At 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 5, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the area of Brentwood Drive near Ramblewood Parkway for the report of a subject that had been robbed. The 26-year-old male victim reported being chased from the parking lot of a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 and into a business parking lot on Rogers Walk by an unknown subject. The victim said the suspect was armed with what he believed was a handgun. The investigation determined no robbery or attempt had occurred. The incident is still under investigation.

At 11:27 p.m. on Oct. 4, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 for a narcotics complaint. The investigation resulted in the arrest of four subjects for drug related offenses and warrants. The arrestees were:

A male, age 21, of Mt. Laurel. He was charged with possession of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000 and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.

A female, age 34, of Swedesboro. She was charged with possession of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.

A male, age 50, of Mt. Laurel was arrested for several outstanding warrants and was committed to the Burlington County Jail.

A male, age 23, of Barrington. He was charged with possession of oxycodone, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $16,500 and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.

At 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 4, Mt. Laurel Police responded to a hotel on the 1100 block of Route 73 for a suspicious person complaint. During the investigation officers located two people in a parked vehicle preparing to use heroin. Officers arrested both subjects and charged them with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic syringes. They were both released pending a court hearing. The arrestees were a male, age 37, of Camden and a female, age 40, of Collingswood.

During the overnight hours of Oct. 3r into Oct 4 someone forced entry into Pancheros Mexican Grill on Dearborn Circle. The suspect(s) stole $100 from a cash register.

At 8:55 p.m. on Oct. 3, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fellowship Road at Century Parkway. When the officer approached the vehicle a rear seat passenger jumped out of the car and aggressively confronted the officer. The passenger, a male, age 56, of Voorhees, refused to comply with the officers and was arrested for obstructing the administration of law. The male struggled with officers as they handcuffed him. He was charged with obstruction and resisting arrest. The male was released pending a court hearing.

An employee of a business on the 14000 block of Commerce Drive reported her wallet was stolen from her cubical on Oct. 3 between 9:10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

A resident on the 100 block of Elbo Lane reported that a Donald Trump campaign flag was stolen from his flagpole between Oct. 2 and Oct. 3.

On Oct. 3, an employee of AAA, 4010 Dearborn Circle reported that two Snap-On Solus vehicle diagnostic scanners were stolen from the garage area of the business between July and August of this year.

At 3:10 a.m. on Oct. 3, Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ark Road near Courtney Way. During the stop officers arrested a male, age 27, of Medford. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of cocaine. Bail was set at $10,000 no 10 percent option and he was committed to the Burlington County Jail.

At 12:09 a.m. on Oct. 3, Mt. Laurel Police stopped a suspicious person in a parking lot on the 500 block of Fellowship Road. During the investigation officers arrested a female, age 24, of Chadds Ford, Pa. She was charged with possession of hypodermic syringes and drug paraphernalia. She was released pending a court hearing.

At 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 2, Mt. Laurel Police responded to the 100 block of Willow Turn for the report of a juvenile climbing through a window of a vacant residence. The investigating officers took a 14-year-old male from Mt. Laurel into custody for criminal trespass. He was turned over to his mother.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 1,, an elderly victim reported that she left her wallet in a shopping cart unattended while she used the restroom at Target, 4 Centerton Road. When she returned the wallet was gone.

A guest at a hotel on the 900 block of Route 73 reported that their vehicle was scratched in several places while it was parked in the parking lot between 11 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 2 a.m. on Oct. 2.

Between 1:20 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Oct. 1, two victims attending an event at a hotel on the 900 block of Route 73 reported their coats and a sweater were stolen. The items had been left unattended.

At 1:09 a.m. on Oct. 1, Mt. Laurel Police responded to Route 38 at Briggs Road for a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation officers arrested a male, age 44, of Browns Mills. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.

Between 7:25 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, a Samsung Galaxy 6 phone, a blue Nautica bag and black Adidas pants were stolen from an unlocked locker at the YMCA.
