Moorestown Police Reports for Oct. 9 and 10

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Police Department:

On Oct. 9, residents of the 700 block of North Lenola Road came home to find suspect in their house. They were able to detain him while trying to run away until the police arrived. A 25-year-old man of Westampton was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglar tools and possession of a hypodermic needle. The man entered the home through a rear window and stole cash and electronics. When the suspect was confronted by the victims he turned the stolen items over to them. In his possession were assorted tools and a syringe. The man was transported to the Burlington County Jail on $65,000 bail.

On Oct. 10, a resident of Cove Road reported the theft of two watches from their home during an unknown time frame for an estimated value of $16,000.
