The Coffee with a Cop program offered by the Evesham Township Police Department provides citizens with an informal venue to ask questions or voice their concerns.
Officers from the Evesham Township Police Department will be available to answer law enforcement related questions during the Coffee with a Cop event held Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Barnes & Noble at 200 West Route 70 in Marlton.
“The Coffee with a Cop program is a unique way to strengthen the partnership between the police department and community we serve. It is designed to enhance communication between concerned citizens and township police officers,” said Evesham Township Police Chief Christopher Chew. “We believe that this type of open dialogue plays a critical role in establishing a true partnership between the community and the police department.”
Members of the community will be able to ask specific or general questions related to the neighborhoods they live in.
The department places a high priority on community partnerships and believes these types of events can only foster better relationships.
The police department will continue to host the Coffee with a Cop event on several occasions throughout the upcoming year at different shops or restaurants in the township.
