Evesham Police K-9 tracks down car burglary suspect
The following report is on file with the Evesham Police Department:
On June 23, the Evesham Police Department investigated eight car break-ins which occurred on Chesterwood Court, Brookview Circle, Elberta Lane, Roberts Lane and Kettering Court. Investigation determined that the suspect had broken into unlocked cars and smashed the windows of locked cars to steal electronics and loose change.
ETPD K-9 Brody responded to the scene to assist officers. K-9 Brody was able to pick up the suspects scent from a car that was burglarized and follow the scent to the rear door of a townhome in the 700 block of Roberts Lane. The results of the K-9 track along with evidence recovered from the scenes resulted in the arrest of a Marlton male.
Arrested:
A male, age 22, of Marlton, was charged with six counts of third degree burglary and theft. He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $120,000 full bail.
