The Lenape Regional High School District (LRHSD) invites the community to its second of four community engagement sessions, which are among the district’s initial steps in the strategic planning process to plan for the next five years.
The administration will hold its next session on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Shawnee High School.
Drawing inspiration from its theme this year, “Better Together,” officials say the LRHSD aims to involve community members, parents, students, staff, administration and board of education members in creating a shared vision for its future.
Those interested can RSVP to [email protected]. Those interested can also learn more at www.lrhsd.org/StateOfTheDistrict.
In addition, Seneca High School will host a similar forum on Nov. 19 and Lenape High School will host one on Dec. 5.
Each community engagement session will follow the same process and ask participants to identify the district’s strengths (things to preserve) and future expectations.
The district has reached the end of its previous 10-year strategic plan and looks to create a refreshed vision, especially to keep pace with the rapidly changing educational landscape. These meetings are the first steps in the process to create the new LRHSD strategic plan.
