Tai Chi for Health: Ages 18 years and up. 4 to 5 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. Certified instructor Bob Stanton teaches tai chi, a gentle exercise that can improve muscle tone, flexibility, and coordination. This class can be done seated or standing. ESL Conversation Class with NJ Literacy: Ages 18 years and up. 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. This ESL class is for upper level beginner to lower level intermediate learners. Future Coders – Intro to Programming with Scratch: Ages 8 to 12 years. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mount Laurel Library. This fun, beginner-friendly program is for young kids who want to try out code for the first time. Students will learn to use Scratch, a kid-friendly, interactive, and immersive coding program. Throughout this course, students will learn about character motion, variables, how to make their own games, animations, and more. This course serves as an introduction to the world of code and the possibilities it has. No previous coding experience is necessary. Registration required at www.mtlaurel.lib.nj.us. Parents/guardians must remain in the building during the program. Participants should bring their own laptop, if possible. The library will also have laptops available for participants to borrow.
