Man found with one pound of marijuana

On Saturday evening, Berlin police found the substances in a man’s vehicle along the White Horse Pike.

The following is information from the Berlin Police Department:

On Saturday, Dec. 23, an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on the White Horse Pike in the area of Ellis Avenue.

As a result of this traffic stop, probable cause was found to search the vehicle. A search of his vehicle yielded one pound of marijuana in smaller sealed individual bags packaged for distribution and an amount of U.S. currency.

The male was taken into custody and given notice to appear in Camden County Superior Court.
