Haddonfield Middle School student earns honor society award

Talia Seshasai was a recipient of this year's National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award.

Haddonfield eighth grader Talia Seshasai has earned this year’s National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award.

Seshasai will receive $500 to be applied to college, where she hopes to study aerospace engineering. She was chosen for the award based on her demonstrated work in supporting the five pillars of the honor society: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.

“The five pillars of NJHS mean a lot to me, especially the pillars of service and leadership,” the student said. “I take on leadership roles when I have the opportunity, whether in or outside of school. I am honored to receive this recognition, because I truly value community service and make it a big part of my life.”
