Gloucester County Nature Club
The Gloucester County Nature Club meets at the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church at the corner of Woodbury-Glassboro Road and Mantua Avenue, Wenonah. Meetings are scheduled for the second Thursday of the month, September through June, and are free and open to the public. For more information, please visit www.gcnatureclub.org. They will next meet Thursday, March 14, at 7 p.m. The March program will be “Plant Communities of New Jersey, Native or Otherwise,” presented by Karl Anderson, a noted local naturalist.
He will present an old-fashioned lecture about the origins of New Jersey’s high botanical diversity, an introduction to the native plant communities, the origins of non-native plants and their effect on native plant communities, and some thoughts on gardening with native species.

Monroe Township Public Schools: Accepting applications for the preschool lottery from Thursday, April 4 to Friday, May 3. The preschool lottery for the 2024-25 school year will take place Wednesday, May 8.
