A tour through abolition history

The Haddonfield library will host a tour on Saturday, Jan. 13 that will explore South Jersey’s rich abolitionist history with Ellen Alford, author of “Abolition and the Underground Railroad in South Jersey: Not Without a Fight.”

The program will feature stories of courage, resilience and defiance against slavery. It is sponsored in partnership with the Preserving Black Haddonfield History Project and Lawnside Historical Society.
