Black history showcased on walking tour

The first official walking tour by the Preserving Black Haddonfield History Project (PBHHP) will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. 

The tour will include 12 sites, beginning at Centennial Field, Park Place and Lincoln Avenue. In addition to local civic and philanthropic leaders, PBHHP expects to draw students, parents and members of the clergy. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

A suggested donation for participation in the tour is $10 and cash donations will be collected at the event.
