The Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival returns for its 29th year with more than 200 artists showcasing the best of fine art and craft from the region and beyond. This two-day outdoor festival, sponsored by Subaru of Cherry Hill, will be held Saturday, July 8 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, July 9 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. along Kings Highway between Washington Avenue and Haddon Avenue, along Tanner Street to Euclid Avenue and on Kings Court.

As always, a curated selection of artists and crafters will exhibit a wide range of work, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood, fiber, paper, drawings, paintings, photography, and wearable art. What is usually a busy main artery through the center of town is transformed into a festive corridor, alive with a panorama of artists’ tents, outdoor cafés, and more.

NEW THIS YEAR: EMERGING STUDENT ARTISTS!

New this year will be an emerging artist area of local students from the ceramics program at Camden County College and the glass program at Salem Community College.

Maria Veneziano of Renaissance Craftables, a co-organizer of the Arts Festival, notes, “We’re very excited about being able to include emerging artists from South Jersey in this year’s festival and plan to grow the area for our 30th year in 2024.”

Interactive booths with a twist include Denise Fike, who offers live fashion illustrations of attendees, and woodworking demos from Turner Wood Designs.

In addition to the artists and crafters, activities from sponsors and local businesses include:

  • Second Annual Cookie Eating Contest with Downtown Cookiesof Haddonfield on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. Can you beat 26 cookies in three minutes?
  • Misfit Angels of South Jerseyreturns as the charity partner of Subaru of Cherry Hill for this event. At the 2022 Festival, more than 200 visitors submitted applications to adopt a pet, and 19 homeless dogs found their forever homes as a result!
  • Subaru of Cherry Hill will have their brand new EV 2023 SOLTERRA on display.
  • Much more TBA!

This free event is easily accessible from area bridges or by taking the PATCO Speed Line to the heart of the shopping district. Parking in Haddonfield is also free during the two-day festival.

The festival’s major sponsors are: Subaru of Cherry Hill, Audacy radio stations B101, 96.5 TDY, and BIG 98.1, and the Sun Newspaper Group / Newspaper Media Group.
