Burlington County to begin road resurfacing work on Eayrestown Road in Lumberton

Pavement milling and overlay work on 2.6 miles of the road, also known as County Route 612, is expected to take about three weeks to complete

Burlington County plans to begin resurfacing a section of Eayrestown Road as part of its State Funded Overlay Program.

Pavement milling and overlay work on 2.6 miles of the road, also known as County Route 612, is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, April 5, and is expected to take about three weeks to complete. Traffic will be maintained through the work area between Route 38 and Bridge Street, but motorists using the road will likely experience delays and are advised to seek alternative routes.

The work is being performed by Earle Asphalt Co., of Farmingdale, as part of the annual road resurfacing program.

A total of 34.2 miles of roadway in 13 municipalities are expected to be resurfaced through shared state and county funding.
