The Moorestown Home & School Association Turkey and Pie Drive was a success thanks to the generosity of our Moorestown community. In addition to the dry goods the students in the schools donated, we collected over 456 frozen turkeys, 310 fresh pies and hundreds of reusable shopping totes for our friends and neighbors to enjoy the holidays.Â
Special thanks to the community house for donating their parking lot to the drive, to Wegmans for their generous donation and to Bill and Michael for helping deliver the donations from each school to the community house.Â
We’d also like to especially thank our event coordinators, Nicole W., Lauren K., Alia J., all of Home & School’s school community service chairs for their commitment to spreading kindness, and the school guidance counselors and principals for working so closely with us to ensure our community has an enjoyable holiday.
