The Haddonfield Memorial High School (HMHS) Madrigal Singers invite residents to enjoy the music and merriment of the season at their annual Dessert Theater, Dec. 16 and 17, 2022.
The show will feature songs and dances of the season, a comedy guaranteed to amuse and entertain, a wassail toast, the regal presentation of the Boar’s Head, and desserts to enjoy during the event.
Under the direction of HMHS’s director of choirs, Tyler Mills, the student singers appear in renaissance inspired costumes as they present madrigal songs, pieces of vocal music that originated in Italy and England. Since the troupe’s inaugural season in 1997, the HMHS Madrigal Singers have performed at the White House, Washington National Cathedral, the Kimmel Center, and Longwood Gardens.
The HMHS Madrigal Singers are pleased to present their 2022 troupe of students:
- Soprano I: Estella Maguire, Katie Walsh, Celia Wojcik.
- Soprano II: Mia Bompensa, Maddie Kehner, Eleanor McMackin, and Tess Smith.
- Alto I: Lili Ali, Elena Domenico, Ryka Khanna, and Helene Usher.
