Crows Woods Gardens seeking borough residents with a green thumb

Plots now available ahead of Opening Day in April

Haddonfield’s Crows Woods Gardens is welcoming all interested gardeners to sign up now for the 2019 growing season. New garden plots at Crows Woods will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, says garden president, Paul Schmeck. Application forms are available at crowswoodsgardeners.com.

New gardeners are assigned a 10-by-20-foot plot for $40. Returning gardeners are charged $20 per plot.

Gardeners must reside in Haddonfield.

The annual winter meeting is Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Crows Woods Clubhouse. All applications should be received by March 1. New members are expected to attend this meeting.

Opening Day at the garden is April 13, 9 a.m.
